Fred came for some tough treatment, says Fabinho.

What did Fabinho say about Fred?

Reds player Fabinho jumped to the defense of the Red Devils’ Fred ahead of the PL’s crystal clash between the two rivals at Old Trafford on Monday. Manchester United comes into play after a disastrous start to the season. Erik ten Hag’s players were beaten 2-1 in their opener against Brighton and hit 4-0 at Brentford last time. Brazilian footballer Fred has been regularly criticized by supporters since signing from Shakhtar Donetsk in 2018 for a fee of £52.5m.

The Brazilian has said he believes his Brazil teammate was unfairly targeted during his time at Old Trafford. Fabinho said that sometimes he doesn’t really understand criticisms with Fred because he is a regular player, he always plays good football. In general, Man Utd hasn’t been successful in recent seasons, so they’re trying to find a solution or they’re trying to put the blame on some players, and sometimes Fabinho thinks Fred is that player.

But according to Fabinho, Fred is a good player, in the national team, he is always a starter, he always plays well and, yes, sometimes a player needs a little more confidence to play well. Fred played really good football last season, maybe one of Man Utd’s best players. Man Utd didn’t start well this season, but Fabinho hopes that Fred will play well and Man Utd will stay that way.

Fabinho talks about Casemiro

Fred will soon be joined in Manchester by Casemiro, who is set to complete his move from Real Madrid. The two regularly play together for Brazil’s Tite alongside Fabinho, who is confident the 30-year-old will be a good signing for Manchester United. Fabinho explained that he played with him in the second team of Real Madrid and with the national team. According to Fabinho, he is a friend, they always talk and he is a nice guy.

“Of course he will be a good signing. Casemiro is a smart guy, he’s a good player, he’s strong, he’s good in the air so it won’t be hard for him to adapt to the PL,” said Fabinho. Man Utd take on Liverpool in search of their first points of the new season while their rivals are still looking for their first victory. Liverpool held Fulham and Crystal Palace to draws in the first two games.
