Fabio Vieira heads to Emirates Stadium, eager to prove himself to Arteta and the Arsenal loyalists.

Fabio Vieira is happy to be given the opportunity

The Portuguese footballer is aware that life in the PL will not be easy as the player prepares to complete a £30m transfer from Porto to the Gunners. Vieira saw the move to Emirates Stadium pushed through quickly after appearing as a strike target for Arsenal. Fabio is now gearing up for the most difficult test in the English top flight as the player tries to hit the ground running and the midfielder vows to do whatever it takes to convince Mikel Arteta and loyal fans in the north. London of its dignity.

The Portuguese midfielder has said he never pushed for a move during the summer transfer window but is happy to be given the opportunity to show the Gunners what he can do. Fabio Vieira said that he has always been happy in Porto, but this chance is important for any professional. According to Vieira, PL will not be easy to play and promises to only work, work, work. His agent was working on a deal between the two clubs and Fabio accepted the deal because it was important to all parties. Fabio says he always watched PL on TV.

What will Fabio Vieira bring to Arsenal?

Arsenal was closely associated with the likes of Ruben Neves and Youri Tielemans when looking for reinforcements for Mikel’s engine room, with raids on Leicester and Wolves. Fabio, however, is a man the Gunners have looked up to and will hopefully maintain the standards he has set over the last years at Porto. Fabio Vieira contributed 16 assists to this cause last season, along with seven goals, and is capable of playing a No8 ball or a creative No10.

If no more midfield options are acquired by Gunner during the current window, then Fabio could fit into Mikel’s plans along with Martin Odegaard and Thomas Partey. The Portuguese midfielder could be loosened up during pre-season, with friendly dates, while a competitive debut could be made when the Gunners open their 2022-23 PL campaign away at Crystal Palace on August 5.
