The former Liverpool and Chelsea striker Fernando Torres had made himself as one of the feared strikers in the world of football. That was until his big money £50 million move to Chelsea.

A loan move away from Chelsea to AC Milan didn’t seem to help out much either. After his return to his boyhood club, Atletico Madrid while he did not return to his peak form he did seem to play much better than he was playing at Stamford Bridge.

As it may seem Torres might not be seeing out his career at Atletico Madrid. With only one start this season and Diego Costa arriving in January and Atletico having their transfer ban lifted he’s likely to have more competition for the first-team spot.

As reported by The Mirror, both New Castle and Southampton have contacted the 33 years old Spanish international for his services. With Fernando Torres seeking more first-team football will he be making a move to England?
