In a thrilling encounter, San Francisco Unicorns emerged victorious against the Texas Super Kings in the semi-final of the MLC 2024 tournament. The Unicorns, led by Finn Allen’s brilliant century, set up a final showdown with Washington Freedom on July 28.
Finn Allen Shines with Century
Finn Allen’s scintillating knock of 101 off just 53 balls was the highlight of the match. Allen smashed 9 fours and 5 sixes to propel the Unicorns to a competitive total of 200/6 in their 20 overs. His aggressive approach put the Texas Super Kings on the back foot right from the start.
With valuable contributions from Hassan Khan (27 off 15) and Juanoy Drysdale (2-33), the Unicorns managed to secure a 10-run victory over the Super Kings.
