Paulo Dybala will play Francesco Totti in a charity game next week.

What did Francesco Totti say?

The Italian former footballer and Roma legend says he will try to convince the Argentine player to make the Giallorossi his new home after the Argentine confirmed he would be leaving Juve at the end of the season. After an emotional farewell at home in Turin against Lazio, Paulo will close his stay with the old lady against Fiorentina before moving to new pastures. The club host will fight for his signature – but Roma legend Francesco Totti, who is set to play alongside Paulo Dybala next week at San Siro in a Samuel Eto’o charity match, says he will push for a move to the Stadio Olimpico.

Francesco Totti, when asked about Paulo’s potential breakthrough, said they would see if they could bring him to Rome. Francesco will meet Paulo Dybala on Monday and hope to convince him. According to Totti they are in Milan for Samuel’s match, they will play together and he will give him advice. Francesco also said that he will try to put something in his head, he hopes they will succeed. This is if Roma is the same mind as Francesco.

What’s next for Paulo Dybala?

The Argentine’s next moves remain a hot topic of discussion after an emotionally charged farewell home match in Turin last weekend, when the striker waved goodbye to Juventus. Paulo – who was seen crying on the pitch as he made his thanks to his teammates and supporters – wasn’t immune to chicanery during a drawn-out conversation about his future at the Bianconeri. Some are thought to be in Serie A, while a host of PL sides are also expected in the mix for his signature, in particular as he expects to hit in a new campaign ahead of Qatar’s 2022 World Cup.
