Focusing more on the firepower, Punjab Kings has gone ahead with the hope to elevate themselves from last year’s performance. They have got two of best all rounders now: Liam Livingstone and Sam Curran.
They broke their bank records to draft in the World Cup winning all rounder which worth every penny invested. If Sam Curran can win Punjab Kings two or three matches, his job will be done better.
Sikandar Raza is a spinning all-rounder and a back-up for Liam Livingstone, who is currently recovering from an injury, so getting him at his basic price is a deal.
Punjab lost because it let go of Mayank Agarwal and was unable to acquire a dependable top-order batter from India. They also skipped hiring a famous expert to bolster their spin attack. Punjab ended up with 12.2 crore INR in leftover funds.
