Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season was played between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the MCA Stadium in Pune.

Devon Conway took over the responsibility along with Ruturaj Gaikwad. Together, the team did not let any setback in the first 6 overs and added 40 runs.
After this, Gaikwad, taking an aggressive stance from one end, started scoring runs with speed and while Conway was seen supporting him well from one end.
Due to which a huge partnership of 182 runs was seen between the two for the first wicket, in which Gaikwad returned to the pavilion after playing a brilliant innings of 99 runs.
While Conway remained unbeaten till the end, playing an important innings of 85 runs in 55 balls, played an important role in taking the team’s score beyond 200.
Chennai Super Kings team scored 202 runs at the end of 20 overs for the loss of 2 wickets. At the same time, T Natarajan took 2 wickets in the bowling for SRH.
After a good start, SRH stumbled and got a close defeat
Chasing the score of 203 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad’s team got off to a great start with the opening pair of captain Kane Williamson and Abhishek Sharma adding 58 runs for the first wicket.
But after this, the team lost the wickets of Abhishek Sharma and Rahul Tripathi in two consecutive balls. From here, captain Kane Williamson along with Markram took the responsibility of leading the innings but SRH’s team got a third blow on the score of 88 when Markram returned to the pavilion after playing a short innings of 17 runs.
From here on the team of SRH, the pressure of continuous run-rate started increasing, due to which Williamson also returned to the pavilion after playing an innings of 47 runs.
At the same time, Nicholas Pooran definitely played an unbeaten innings of 64 runs in 33 balls from one end but that proved insufficient to save the team from a 13-run defeat.
In the bowling for CSK, Mukesh took 4 wickets in this match, while Mitchell Santner and Dwayne Pretorius got 1-1 wickets in their account.
