Gerard Pique’s break-up with Shakira may have surprised many, but not the couple, who had already been estranged for a few months, as people close to them have revealed. From the moment the news broke, many rumours circulated about the private life of the Barcelona centre-back, who, according to the tabloids, is enjoying an intense lifestyle. As reported by Socialite, Pique has travelled to the Swedish capital of Stockholm for business reasons and then went to a crowded party full of celebrities. The event he attended was the international summit called ‘Brilliant Minds’, a congress that brings together all kinds of personalities from all corners of the globe. Pique was invited by Spotify CEO Daniel Ek, who recently reached a sponsorship deal with Barcelona.

Influencer Katrin Zytomierska revealed some details from the party, confirming that Pique was there along with a blonde woman. “Pique was wearing a black sweatshirt, like everyone else,” she told reporters. “It’s an exceptional party in Stockholm. It wasn’t very late, midnight.” According to her statements, Pique met Alicia Keys, Naomi Campbell and Edward Norton, and other influencers and essential people in business. Mobile phones were not forbidden at the party, and it was possible to take pictures and videos.

Gerard has reportedly promised to focus more on football

Meanwhile, ‘Brilliant Minds’ had everything, including a merry-go-round, a stage on water, giant sparklers and a live performance by Florence. The footballer has recently been discussing his professional future with Xavi and Joan Laporta. He has reportedly promised to focus more on football this coming season and less on his business dealings, which he conducts through the company Kosmos.

That might be easier said than done since there are so many deals in which Kosmos are involved which the company owns a stake in the FC Andorra football team that recently reached the second division of Spanish football, LaLiga SmartBank.
