We present to you another Goal Post episode. Review of Match Week 28 for the English Premier League. Highlighting previous games of Watford vs. Liverpool, Everton vs. Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur vs. Wolves.

Watford 3-0 Liverpool

The extraordinary success of Liverpool FC in the Premier League this season ended on Saturday with an incomprehensible fashion. Watford beat European champions 3-0 at their ecstatic stadium Vicarage Road. Ismail Sarr was inspired by an unusually upset, stunning Liverpool with two goals in six second-half minutes before he set up captain Troy Deeney with a third for the team. Which started the day one from below. 55 points behind the runaway leaders. Liverpool’s defeat in the first league of the season. Signaled the end of their hopes of getting through the league’s entire campaign as unbroken as the new “Invincibles” after 44 league games without a defeat. It’s happened in the evening when they expected to surpass Manchester City. Creating a new English top-flight record of 19 consecutive league victories.

Everton 1-1 Manchester United

VAR came to the rescue of Manchester United after a 1-1 draw against Everton at Goodison Park. In the middle of the week, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made five changes from the team that beat the Brugge club, with Anthony Martial returning to the squad after a minor injury that lasted outside the clash in the middle of the week. David De Gea returned to the side instead of Sergio Romero, but the Spaniard survived the nightmarish start of the game. The Spaniard took too much time in possession, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin charged his angles. The Man United slammed its panicked skylight against the Everton striker, and he ricocheted into the back of the net in just three minutes.

Dominic nearly doubled the damage only a minute later, breaking through on goal, but this time David De Gea foiled his effort with a fine fingertip save. One error, one top save – all in the space of a minute.

Tottenham Hotspur 2-3 Wolves

Hopes of Tottenham Hotspur for qualification in the Champions League suffered a severe blow on Sunday, as they blew up the lead twice to lose at home to Wolves Tottenham started well and rushed off to an early lead when Steven Bergwijn stabbed home from inside a six-yard box after Dele Alli’s shot fired off by Rui Patricio. But their leadership did not last long. Some terrible defending allowed Matt Doherty to get ahead of Japhet Tanganga to score an equalizer. Serge Aurier again put the Spurs in front of the beautiful curling player from under the box, only for Wolves to turn the game around in the second half.

First, Diogo Jota profited from Eric Dier’s mistake to get Wolves back on conditions. And then the 23-year-old striker turned provider, running from one end of the field to the other to deliver Raul Jimenez, who confidently finished for Paulo Gazzaniga.
