After the match, United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer lauds the youngster as a natural footballer.
“He is a natural footballer. He is a natural finisher and a fantastic finisher,” Solskjaer Lauds the youngster.
“I think the improvement in his overall game has been there for everyone to see. I have always known that he will score goals. That’s not an issue,” the Norwegian added.
“I have liked the variety of his goals. Today, both of his (goals) were from his left foot,” he pointed.
“Last week against Tottenham, he scored with his right foot. This is a big thing because he has worked that out himself,” the former United strike said.
Also, Greenwood has received lots of compliments from his teammate Paul Pogba. Pogba says, “Like I have always said, Mason is a big-talented player that we had from our academy.”
“He can go to the highest level, world-class, it just depends on him. He has to work hard, harder than everyone, believe in himself, and want it,” he advised.
“When you’re talented like this, you already have talent. Now it’s only the work you put in to make you become the world-class player you have to become with this talent.
However, Pogba claims he doesn’t want to praise the youngster but push him to reach his limits.
“It depends on him. I will always be the guy to push him, not praise him too much. But push him to get to the level he should arrive at,” Pogba claims.
