Punjab Kings registered a one-sided eight-wicket victory against Gujarat Titans. Punjab chased down Gujarat’s target of 144 for the loss of two wickets and with 24 balls to spare. This is the fifth win for Punjab Kings and they have now reached the fifth position in the points table.
Liam Livingstone ended the match after scoring 28 runs in the last over of Mohammed Shami. Livingstone hit Shami for three consecutive sixes in the 16th over and then also hit two fours.
On the other hand, Gujarat Titans has to face the second defeat of the season. For Punjab, Shikhar Dhawan remained unbeaten on 62 off 53 balls and Liam Livingstone scored 30 runs in 10 balls. Apart from these, Bhanuka Rajapaksa scored 40 runs in 28 balls.
