According to sources in Spain, Eden Hazard has finally fulfilled his commitment to Real Madrid and returned for preseason in “excellent shape.”

Three off-seasons have resulted in the winger ‘getting carried away’ and returning up to five kilograms overweight due to significant injury and fitness issues.

However, the £150 million star is already in good form, pleasing the club and manager Carlo Ancelotti, who intends to use him more next season.

Hazard, now 31, was widely regarded as one of the top players in the world following seven brilliant seasons at Chelsea, including a 21-goal season in 2018-19 that earned him a £150 million transfer to Real Madrid.

However, the 120-cap international’s propensity for abandoning his diet between seasons led in him frequently returning overweight, so compounding his fitness and injury difficulties.

He has been unable to secure a regular starting position and has scored only six goals in all competitions throughout his three years with the club – the same as his lowest single-season total at Chelsea.

Marcin Bulka, a former Blues teammate, disclosed that Eden Hazard enjoys eating fast food such as hamburgers and pizza during the offseason.

The Belgian stated, “I make no secret of the fact that when I’m on holiday, I’m on vacation.

I am the sort to gain weight quickly and lose it just as quickly if I am careful.

After winning the Champions League in May, Hazard assured Real fans he would do all in his power to be successful at the club.

The club has allegedly been pleasantly delighted by the former Lille player’s return in the best shape of his Bernabeu career, which he has supposedly fulfilled.

Ancelotti is rumored to be considering employing Hazard as a ‘false nine’ to manage Karim Benzema’s workload in order to save the player’s career. Ancelotti was reportedly impressed by Hazard’s performance during his first training session.
