ICC Test Rankings: Bumrah jumps to no. 4, Virat Kohli slips to 9th spot, Rohit Sharma moves to 6th place| Check Full List

In the latest Test rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC), Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah has benefited and he has reached the top-5 bowlers.

On the other hand, former Indian captain Virat Kohli has lost four places in batting.
Apart from this, Jason Holder of West Indies has reached the top ranking in the all-rounder’s list. He has left behind Ravindra Jadeja.

These bowlers got the advantage

Bumrah took a total of eight wickets in the Pink Ball Test against Sri Lanka and has jumped six places to the fourth position.
Apart from Bumrah, Mohammed Shami has moved up a place to 17th position.

Sri Lanka’s Lasith Embuldeniya and Praveen Jayawickrama have moved up five places each to 32nd and 45th respectively. Pat Cummins, Ravichandran Ashwin and Kagiso Rabada have retained the top three spots.

List of Batters

Shreyas Iyer took a big leap

Shreyas Iyer, who scored two half-centuries in the second Test against Sri Lanka, has jumped 40 places. Iyer has now reached the 37th position.

West Indies’ Nkrumah Bonner, who scored a century in the first Test against England, has moved up 22 places to be at 20th position.
Sri Lanka’s Test captain Dimuth Karunaratne has moved up to the fifth position.

Jack Crowley has moved up 13 places to be at number 49.

Shreyas Iyer, who scored 92 in the first innings against Sri Lanka, scored 67 in the second innings. He has become the first Indian batsman to score half-centuries in both the innings of the Day-Night Test. He has become the fourth batsman in the world to do so.

List of All-rounders

Holder became the top-ranked all-rounder
West Indies Jason Holder has overtaken Jadeja and he has reached the top with 393 rating points. Holder played 45 and 37* in the first Test against England. On the other hand, a total of three wickets were taken in the bowling.

The holder is followed by Jadeja and Ravichandran Ashwin in the second and third positions respectively.

Shakib Al Hasan of Bangladesh and Ben Stokes of England are present in the next two places.
