ICC Women’s Latest ODI Rankings: Mithali Raj loses her ranking spot, Lanning moves to 2nd spot
The first five matches have created quite a stir in the rankings. Lanning has moved up to the second spot with 727 rating points in the two matches of the World Cup so far, thanks to 86 and 35 runs respectively.

She is now just 15 rating points away from the top spot, which is currently held by her compatriot Alyssa Healy with 742 points.
At the same time, Australian batsman Rachel Haynes, who scored a brilliant century in the first Women’s World Cup match against England, has also managed to make it to the top 10 batsmen.
She has finished seventh in the rankings thanks to his brilliant innings of 131 runs from 130 balls against England. England’s Natalie Sciver, who scored a century in the same match, has also benefited and she has jumped five places to number six.

Apart from this, West Indies’ Hayley Mathews has gained a lot in the all-rounders ranking along with batting and bowling due to all-around performance.
She scored a brilliant century of 119 runs in 128 balls against hosts New Zealand in the tournament opener and also took two wickets with the ball.
After this impressive performance, she has gained six places in the all-rounders ranking to fourth, a jump of 12 places in the batting rankings to 20th and three places to 10th in the bowlers’ list.
Other players to move up the rankings include South Africa’s Ayabonga Khaka, who has been helped to reach No.6 with her impressive four-wicket haul in the opening match against Bangladesh.
