IND vs SA T20 Series: 5 players who are likely to be selected for upcoming tour

IPL 2022 Team India: Just after the end of IPL 2022, Team India is going to face South Africa in a five-match T20 series. With the T20 World Cup to take place in Australia this year. This series will become important for the Indian team to prepare keeping in mind the performance of the players.

Some players who have performed well in IPL season 15 can get a chance in the series against South Africa. In this report, we are going to tell you about 5 such players.

1. Arshdeep Singh

Arshdeep Singh, playing for Punjab Kings, has taken ten wickets in 13 matches at an economy rate of 7.82. Arshdeep’s performance for the third consecutive season has also been amazing.

His economy rate of 7.31 in dead overs is the best among all bowlers this season. He is bowling brilliantly with yorkers in the death overs. Arshdeep can make a place in the team for the series against South Africa on the basis of his lethal bowling.

2. Tilak Varma

Even though Mumbai Indians have had a poor performance this season, their team’s young man Tilak Varma has been a rising young player. Varma, who played for India in the 2020 Under-19 World Cup. He came into the tournament for Hyderabad on the basis of his good performance in domestic cricket.

3. Rahul Tripathi

Since entering the IPL in 2017, Rahul Tripathi has been consistently scoring runs in the tournament with his scintillating batting. For Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2022, Tripathi has scored 393 runs at an average of 39.30 and strike-rate of 161.72, including three half-centuries. Recently he played a brilliant innings of 76 runs in 44 balls against Mumbai Indians. Tripathi can also present his claim for the South Africa series.

4. Mohsin Khan

Mohsin Khan, who plays for Lucknow Super Giants, has impressed the cricket audience with his economical bowling and his ability to dismiss batsmen, who have consistently picked up wickets for Lucknow Super Giants.

He has taken 10 wickets in 8 matches at an average of 15.20 and an economy rate of 6.08, which the Indian selectors will be watching carefully.

5. Dinesh Karthik
