IND vs SA: Team India gets 3 new big finishers who can help men in Blue

IND vs SA T20 Series: The Indian cricket team is going to face South Africa in a 5-match T20 series from June 9. In this series, especially those players have been given place who performed well in IPL 2022.

Now by performing well in this series, the same player would like to get a ticket for the T20 World Cup. In this report, we are going to talk about three such players whose performance will be given a lot of attention in this series.

Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik won the ‘Super Striker of the Season’ award for the IPL season 2022. He scored 242 runs in the death overs stage at a strike rate of 220.

Karthik is looking to repeat his IPL 2022 performance in the Indian jersey and secure a spot in the flight for the T20 World Cup in Australia at the end of the year. His amazing batting has led RCB to victory in many matches in 2022.

Umran Malik

The Sunrisers Hyderabad fast bowler, who hails from Jammu, attracted everyone’s attention to his bowling by throwing the ball at a speed of 150 kmph in every match of IPL 2022. However, Lockie Ferguson snatched the award for the fastest ball of the tournament from Malik at a speed of 157.3 kmph.

But Umran thrilled the Indian fans with his raw pace. In his only second IPL season, Umran took five for 25 in four overs against eventual champions Gujarat Titans. Legends of the game have backed Malik to be India’s player of the future and it remains to be seen whether he will be able to maintain his line and length against South Africa.

Arshdeep Singh

Arshdeep Singh has been another young fast bowler like Malik, who enthused many in IPL 2022. The 23-year-old bowler was a well-known bowler for Punjab Kings with his ability to score yorkers and target in the death overs.

All this meant that Arshdeep finished the season with a death-over economy rate of 7.58 apart from taking 10 wickets with the best bowling figures of 3/37. Arshdeep, a member of India’s Under-19 World Cup winning team in 2018 against South Africa, will be keen to carry on his good form from IPL 2022.
