Jadeja played a powerful inning of 63 runs to take India to 332 and took a significant lead in the first innings. He then performed 3/24 in Australia’s second innings and helped India win the Test series.

This performance was special as Jadeja was making a comeback after being out. And was brought back into the Test team on the back of some strong home form. His 38 runs were the second-highest score in India’s first innings of 201.

He took 3 wickets for 55 runs in the first innings of South Africa. In his second innings, Jadeja took 5 for 21 in a brilliant spell of 11 overs and bundled out South Africa for just 109 runs.
