Ishan Kishan scored 89 runs in 56 balls with the help of 10 fours and 3 sixes in the first T20 match against Sri Lanka. During this, he also broke the record of Rishabh Pant and he has become the highest run-scorer in a match of international T20 cricket as an Indian wicket-keeper. Earlier, Rishabh Pant had scored an unbeaten 65 against West Indies in 2019.

with this, Ishan Kishan has also broken the record of Robin Uthappa. Ishan Kishan has created a new record for hitting the most boundaries as an Indian wicketkeeper in a T20 match.

Earlier, Robin Uthappa had hit the most 9 boundaries against Zimbabwe as an Indian wicketkeeper, which Ishaan broke with a total of 13 boundaries, including 10 fours and 3 sixes.

India’s 10th Consecutive Win

India won the first T20 match

– On Thursday, the first T20 match was played between India and Sri Lanka at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow. Sri Lanka won the toss and decided to bowl first in the match.

Batting first, India set a target of 199 runs to win against Sri Lanka at the loss of two wickets. Sri Lanka’s team scored only 137 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. India beat Sri Lanka by 62 runs.

The Target of So Many Runs

India has taken a 1-0 lead in the three-match T20I series against Sri Lanka. Ishan Kishan scored the highest 89 runs for India and Rohit Sharma was dismissed for 44 runs. Both scored 111 runs for the first wicket in 11.5 overs. Shreyas Iyer scored unbeaten on 57. Lahiru Kumara and Dasun Shanaka took the second wicket for India from Sri Lanka.

Deepak Hooda played the first match-

Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Venkatesh Iyer took two wickets each for Sri Lanka from India. Also Yuzvendra Singh Chahal and Ravindra Jadeja took one wicket each.

On the very first ball of Sri Lanka’s team, Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed Pathum Nisanka for a golden duck. Also in this match, Deepak Hooda has started his international cricket career for India.
