IND vs SL: After winning the T20 series against Sri Lanka, still there are holes in Team India Playing11| Check Out
Team India is currently performing well in the T20 format. The Indian team has won 12 consecutive matches in this shortest format of cricket. Talking about the clean sweep, Team India has a clean sweep for the third consecutive series.
Since the 2021 T20 World Cup, India’s victory chariot is continuously moving forward. Changes are also taking place in the team, so young players are also being constantly tried.
Rohit does not want to leave any stone unturned in the team to win the 2022 T20 World Cup. Despite all this, a veteran of Indian cricket has described Team XI as still incomplete.
Former fast bowler told this deficiency in the team
Team India is currently performing well in every department. Sometimes the bowlers are winning the match and sometimes the batsmen are becoming the hero of the match.
But in the meantime, former Indian fast bowler Irfan Pathan feels that one thing is still lacking in the team combination. Irfan feels that the team needs a left-arm pacer. Irfan believes that India will have to start giving opportunities to the left-arm fast bowlers keeping in mind the T20 World Cup to be held in Australia later this year.
Giants want these players in the team
Irfan Pathan said in a conversation with Star Sports, ‘Of all the bowlers in the Indian team right now, I want to see just one more name – that is the name of a left-arm fast pacer. This name can be anyone.
One such player who performs well in IPL. Khaleel Ahmed, T. Natarajan or Chetan Sakariya. I know Sakariya doesn’t look quite ready right now but if he does well in IPL then he can be an option in T20 World Cup.
Left arm bowlers’ performance
None of the three bowlers mentioned by Irfan Pathan has played cricket for India for the past few months. T. Natarajan has not been part of the team for a long time due to injury.
Although Natarajan made a great debut in 2020-21 on the tour of Australia. Khaleel also got a chance to play in the Indian team but Khaleel last played for India in November 2019.
Since then he has not got a chance in Team India. At the same time, Chetan Sakariya made his debut in ODIs and T20s on the tour of Sri Lanka last year. Since then he too has not been selected in the team.
