Suryakumar Yadav has been ruled out of the T20 International series against Sri Lanka starting on Thursday. On Tuesday, he was seen during the practice session in Lucknow but according to contributing website diggingsports, the 31-year-old batsman has a hairline fracture in his hand and has been declared unfit for this series.

There is no concrete information about where Suryakumar Yadav got injured, but there have been reports that the T20 against West Indies.

He suffered an injury while fielding in the third match of the International Series. Suryakumar Yadav was adjudged the Player of the Series against the West Indies.

He is the second Indian player after Deepak Chahar to be out of the series. The fast blower Chahar has also been ruled out of the series to take place in Lucknow and Dharamsala. Chahar suffered a hamstring injury in the series against West Indies in Kolkata.
