IND vs SL: Former Indian team opener Wasim Jaffer is not happy with the performance of Sanju Samson in the three-match T20 series against Sri Lanka (India vs Sri Lanka).
He believes that Sanju has a lot to offer to the team in the T20 format but he has disappointed. Virat Kohli and Rishabh Pant were rested in the T20 series against Sri Lanka.
Only then there was a place in the team for Sanju Samson. However, he missed capitalizing on this opportunity.
On the other hand, Shreyas Iyer, who scored half-centuries in all three matches, has presented his claim to secure a place in the team given the upcoming T20 World Cup.

Wasim Jaffer said in the noise of ESPN Cricinfo, “Sanju Samson did not take advantage of the opportunity.
During the match of today (Sunday) and tomorrow (Saturday), he had a good chance to return to Team India by performing brilliantly. He could have established himself as the third wicketkeeper or batsman but failed.
