India is in deep trouble in third test match against Australia. For the first time in this series, the home side has been put a tantalizing test against the Aussie bowlers. It appears as if the captain has brought some good fortune and with it, a standard set of strategy that has worked so far for the team.

Australia had their best start of the series in this match, spinners came and dominated with recieving all kinds of assistance from the pitch. The start could have been more horrible for India but luckily, Rohit Sharma was given not out when hi nicked the ball behind in the first over, Australian team appealed but didn’t take the review.

A few balls later, Mitchell Starc got him LBW but again, umpire gave it not out and Steve Smith didn’t take the review which was a bad decision both by the umpire and the Australian team. However, Australia didn’t wait for much to get first breakthroughs, as soon as, Kuhnemann picked an end, he removed Rohit Sharma with a mesmerizing delivery. Rohit came forward and missed the line, and Carey stumped him effectively.

Kuhnemann is having best day in the field, the left arm orthodox spinner removed Shubman Gill who was looking good. Then Nathon Lyon came to bowl and got Cheteshwar Pujara who tried to play a low and turning delievery from backfoot.

Virat Kohli showed some promising signs but it was 21 years old Todd Murphy who has been all over Kohli throughout the series. It was third time in this test match, that Murphy bagged the wicket of Virat Kohli. Kohli scored 22 runs which was highest among all batters.

Wickets fell one by one and India found themselves in 5 for 45. India tried to send Ravindra Jadeja at number 5 but this experiment didn’t work and Jadeja was caught at short cover by Kuhnemann. A ball earlier he was saved by the DRS but his day at the crease as a batter couldn’t last long.

Matthew Kuhnemann bowled well and got reward for 4 wickets while the senior bowler Nathon Lyon bagged three wickets for himself. Todd Murphy had the priced wicket of Virat Kohli.
