The second and last match of the two-Test series between India and Sri Lanka will be played in Bengaluru from Saturday (March 12). Team India is leading 1-0 in the series. In the first Test played in Mohali, he defeated the visiting team by an innings and 222 runs. Prior to that, they were eliminated 3-0 in the T20 series.

Now the eyes of the Indian team are on a clean sweep in Tests as well. If Team India is successful in doing this, then for the first time in its 90-year history, a new record will be added.

The Indian team will be eyeing their 11th consecutive win in international cricket. They have won 10 matches in a row since losing the ODI match on 23 January this year in South Africa. First defeated West Indies in three ODIs and three T20Is. After that, he won three T20Is and one Test match against Sri Lanka. If the Indian team wins the Bangalore Test, it will be their 11th victory in international cricket.

Apart from this, Team India will be eyeing to win two series in any format for the second time in a row. Team India has never been successful in making a clean sweep against two teams in a series of two or more formats in a row in its 90-year cricket history.

Team India had earlier won all the matches of the two series (ODI and T20) against the West Indies. Now she can clean sweep against Sri Lanka in the T20 and Test series. He had earlier won the T20 series 3-0. Now it’s time to win Test 2-0.

Team India will go down to register their eighth consecutive win against Sri Lanka. The last time she got it was in 2015. Then the Lankan team won the Galle Test by 63 runs.

After that, nine Tests were played between the two teams. Of these, two were draws and seven were won by India. Talking about the home ground, the Indian team has not lost a single match to the Lankan team at home so far. There have been 12 matches won and nine draws.

Talking about the series, the Indian team will go to their home ground to win the 15th consecutive Test series. The last time Team India lost to England at home was in 2012-13.

After that there has been no loss in a single series. If we look at the record against Sri Lanka, India has not lost a single Test series against them since 2008. During this, in five Test series, India won four and were left on a draw.
