Inter agreed to transfer Achraf Hakimi. A medical examination is scheduled for these days. Hakimi should be easily adapted to Conte’s scheme.
Milan’s Inter have made another solid acquisition. The Italian press unanimously agrees that Real Madrid and Dortmund right-back Achraf Hakimi is Inter’s new player. Hakimi will arrive in Milan on Monday or Tuesday. He will undergo a medical examination and sign a contract after that.
Achraf Hakimi spent last season in Borussia Dortmund, where he managed to leave an excellent impression. But the Moroccan defender still belongs to Real. Inter will also pay Madrid 40 million euros, and another 5 million will be included in the contract as a bonus.
Despite Hakimi’s progress, Real Madrid do not need him in this position. The right-back of the Royal Club – Dani Carvajal has been playing steadily for years. For Inter, the Moroccan defender will be handy, as he has the experience to play in Antonio Conte’s favorite 3-5-2 scheme. He can also control the entire flank alone and can even be involved in the attack.
In this year’s Champions League group stage match, Achraf Hakimi was one of the best against Inter, scoring a goal and becoming the main hero of the match.
