Inter Milan is one of several European clubs rumored to be keeping an eye on Manchester City forward Gabriel Jesus whose contract with Man City is coming to an end.

The 24-year-old, Gabriel Jesus’ contract at the Etihad expires in 16 months, and Pep Guardiola’s side may want to sell him this summer unless they can agree on a new agreement.

But according to reports, Inter will be ready to make a move and will likely lead the race for Jesus’ signature if he becomes available. The Serie A club is claimed to have long admired the forward and will be ready to strike if his future in Manchester City remains uncertain.

Guardiola has moved Jesus out wide this season, where he has performed admirably.

Due to a muscle ailment, Jesus has not played since the winter break, but he has six goals and nine assists in 25 matches this season. City, on the other hand, may be tempted to let him go in exchange for Inter’s Lautaro Martinez.

With a total of 12 goals in all competitions this season, the Argentine is claimed to have drawn the attention of the Premier League champions.

The 24-year-total old’s goal-scoring record is equally impressive, with 61 goals in 165 games. Liverpool, City’s championship rivals, are apparently plotting to sabotage City’s intentions for the Inter star in order to make their own move.

Raheem Sterling and Riyad Mahrez, Jesus’ teammates, have one year left on their contracts.

Sterling was linked with Barcelona and Real Madrid earlier this season, but the Catalan giants made a January transfer for his old teammate Ferran Torres.
