There is information that Inter is ready to continue negotiations for the transfer of Belgian international Romelu Lukaku from the Blues, and the striker is currently on loan in Milan.

How was everything?

Romelu Lukaku returned to the San Siro in the summer of 2022 after just one disappointing season at Stamford Bridge. The Blues invested £98 million ($119 million) to get the Belgian player back in their accounts for the second period, but only scored 15 goals in 44 matches in return.

Romelu Lukaku: A Striker on Fire

Romelu Lukaku is one of the most talented and prolific forwards in world football today. The Belgian international has been in scintillating form for both club and country, consistently delivering goals and impressive performances that have made him one of the most sought-after players in the game.

Lukaku’s Rise to Fame

Lukaku began his professional career with Belgian club Anderlecht, where he quickly established himself as one of the brightest young talents in Europe. He was just 16 years old when he made his first team debut, and he went on to score 33 goals in 73 appearances for the club. This earned him a move to Chelsea in 2011, where he was expected to be the long-term successor to Didier Drogba.

However, things did not quite work out for Lukaku at Stamford Bridge, and he spent most of his time at the club out on loan. Spells at West Bromwich Albion and Everton saw him prove his goalscoring ability in the Premier League, and he eventually joined the Toffees on a permanent deal in 2014. He continued to thrive at Goodison Park, scoring an impressive 87 goals in 166 appearances, before securing a big-money move to Manchester United in 2017.

He has scored goals for fun for United, and has also been leading the line for Belgium with great success.
