IPL 2022: BCCI announce TATA IPL 2022 Schedule, Full list of Matches, Match List, Opening Match, Indian Timing| Check Details

All the cricket lovers are eagerly waiting for the start of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. In which the upcoming season will start from March 26, in which the first match will be played between the defending winners Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders. At the same time, the final match of this season will be held on 29 May.

With the addition of 2 new teams in the IPL 2022 season, the teams have been divided into groups A and B after a total of 10 teams. In this, where a team will get to play 2 matches against some, they are going to be seen playing only 1 match. The league stage matches will end on May 22.

However, both the dates and the venue for the playoff matches have not been announced in the schedule yet. On the other hand, if we talk about Group-A, then it includes the team of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Supergiants.

On the other hand, the teams of Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans have got a place in Group-B.

All league matches will be held in Maharashtra

In the IPL Governing Council meeting held a few days back, it was already decided that all the league phase matches will be held in Maharashtra. In which 20-20 matches will be organized at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai and DY Patil Stadium in Pune.

At the same time, 15-15 matches will be organized at Brabron Stadium in Mumbai and MCA Stadium in Pune.

At the same time, according to the schedule, the first doubleheader of the tournament will be played on March 27. Whereas due to the increase in the number of matches this season, a lot of double-header matches will also be seen. At the same time, the state government of Maharashtra has allowed 25 per cent of spectators to enter the stadium during IPL 2022 matches.
