RCB Hall of Fame: Legendary cricketers Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers have been inducted into the ‘Hall of Fame’ of Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Former RCB captain Virat Kohli has announced the induction of both his close teammates into the ‘Hall of Fame’.

In a statement released on the website of this franchise, Kohli said, “De Villiers really changed the game of cricket with his unique batting, talent and sportsmanship.” Kohli said, ‘It is really special for me to announce this for both of you. De Villiers and Gayle inducted into Hall of Fame
South African batsman de Villiers was associated with RCB from 2011 to 2021, while West Indies left-handed batsman Gayle played for the franchise for six years. De Villiers sent an emotional message by terming this honor as special.
AB De Villiers gave this statement
De Villiers said, ‘It is a special honor. I am really very emotional. Thank you Virat for your heart touching words. It’s a really special feeling for Mike Hesson, Nikhil and everyone involved in the franchise who has set it up. We have had a wonderful time together as a team. Me and Chris are no longer in the team, but we are still part of this family and always will be.
Gayle gave such a reaction
Chris Gayle, who played for RCB from 2011 to 2017, said, ‘I want to thank the RCB family for providing the opportunity and everything. It has been really special for me as well. It is wonderful to be in this (Hall of Fame). RCB will always be close to my heart.
