Indian Premier League produces everything, from nail biting games to high voltage drama. Often we see heated moments turning into IPL fights. In IPL 2022, we have already seen couple of such instances. Delhi Capitals tops the list in the case this year. Also, we saw Riyan Parag and Harshal Patel kicking up a fuss out of nowhere over a couple of sixes.

There there Pant and co. kvetching and brawling over a no ball deal. However, the history is even more animated when players lost the cool behaved like ill-mannered. Here are few fights from the past:

Virat Kohli Clashes With Gautam Gambhir

 In IPL 2013 when RCB-KKR match was going on and it was about to turn into one of the IPL fights rather than a IPL match. At that time, after the fall of Virat Kohli’s wicket, Gautam Gambhir had celebrated, on which Virat Kohli clashed. Both the players moved in anger towards each other, later the umpires-players had to intervene. 

Kieron Pollard Doing Unusual Things

Kieron Pollard often does a variety of objectionable actions on the field, which become the subject of discussion. The same happened in 2019, when Kieron Pollard tried to tease the batting Chris Gayle. But the umpire interrupted him, after which Kieron Pollard clashed with the umpire and stuck tape on his mouth to register a protest. 

MS Dhoni Loses His Cool On Field

When Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings met in IPL 2019, there was a dispute over a no-ball in the last over. Ben Stokes bowled a beamer, on which the umpire gave a no-ball but there was some confusion from the leg-umpire. After this MS Dhoni intervened to the field from the dressing room and clashed with the umpire.

Kieron Pollard Goes Head To Head With Mitchell Starc

During the match between RCB and Mumbai Indians in IPL 2014, Mitchell Starc hit Kieron Pollard with a bouncer. After which Mitchell Starc said some words to Pollard, on which he got angry. Things got so ugly that Kieron Pollard threw the bat towards Mitchell Starc.

Sreesanth and Harbhajan Singh Saga

The most talked and vigorous and indeed physical fight in the IPL took place between Harbhajan Singh and S. Sreesanth. In the first season itself, when the match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab took place, there was a tussle between Sreesanth-Harbhajan after the match. Sreesanth alleged that Harbhajan later slapped him.
