The signing of Ivan Perisic to Bundesliga included an option of buying the 30-year-old winger to the club at the end of the loan.

Arsenal’s coach, Unai Emery had made an approach to bring the Croatian international to the Fly Emirates in January. Manchester United was also one of the interested parties in signing Ivan Perisic to the premier league.

Perisic played for Borussia Dortmund and Wolfsburg before joining Inter in 2015. He is now back to the competition that he knows well about. He doesn’t need any introduction to Bundesliga.

The Croatian winger is also acknowledged for helping his national team to reach the World Cup final 2018 in Russia. However, Croatia lost to France 4-2.

Ivan Perisic expressed his joy and ambitions in joining Bundesliga. He said, “I’m very glad to be back in Germany, Bayern are one of the biggest clubs in Europe. We want to go on the attack, not only in the Bundesliga and the DFB Cup but also in the Champions League.”

Perisic’s future in Bayern

Ivan Perisic will raise a great challenge to Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry who are all possible players to take the wing position. Both Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery retired after playing wings of Bayern’s squad for a long time. Perisic also has a challenge to deliver more than what Robben and Ribery did.

Perisic can be a great signing for Bayern Munich. He has profound skills and experience to play upfront or as an attacking midfielder in the squad. He will surely find a better place in Alianz Arena as compared to his fellow wingers.

The Bayern’s sports director was greatly impressed with the signing of Ivan Perisic. In his latest press conference, Hasan Salihamidzic said, “Ivan will instantly help us with his top-level experience. He is skillful and flexible upfront. I am certain he will quickly integrate because he knows the Bundesliga and also our coach Niko Kovac.”

Bayern Munich interest to sign Leroey Sane from Manchester City did not work out. The deal did not go far as the Germany international tore his anterior cruciate ligament in the game against Liverpool before the start of English premier league. The signing of Perisic must have solved the problems of Bayern.
