Manchester City’s celebrations lasted well into the night following a thrilling final day of the Premier League season that saw them regain the championship in a dramatic manner.

With 14 minutes remaining, City appeared to be heading for a shock defeat at home against Aston Villa, but three goals in five minutes from Ilkay Gundogan and a Rodri strike meant the championship would remain at the Etihad Stadium at the cost of Liverpool.

City heroes went to the Ivy restaurant in Manchester city centre to celebrate their achievement after the season’s last game, where the first-team players, their WAGS, and manager Pep Guardiola partied until 3 a.m. before departing bleary-eyed after a long season.

City’s man of the hour, Ilkay Gundogan, star midfielder Kevin De Bruyne, wingers Riyad Mahrez and Phil Foden, defender Aymeric Laporte, and manager Pep Guardiola were among those seen celebrating.

Jack Grealish appeared to be enjoying himself as he stumbled out of the restaurant with assistance, having declared he would make the most of his first Premier League title.

The midfielder’s post-match celebrations had already begun before he even arrived at the Ivy, as he shared a selfie of himself in the City changing room sipping a lager with the caption ‘Ooffft the first of many’ and an emoji of a pair of beers.

Grealish then spent the remainder of the evening at the Manchester restaurant with his teammates, posing for photos with City’s kitman Brandon Ashton as the celebrations went on late into the night.

realish told Sky Sports commentator Roy Keane after the match that the celebrations would begin right away, and that they would last for at least the following three nights.

‘Keep off the top shelf!’ Keane joked at Grealish during the post-match festivities. Keep the beer.’

‘Not for the next three nights, no chance, maybe four,’ the England international said.

‘Enjoy it Jack, enjoy it, why not?’ Keane said. ‘Wonderful, nicely done.’
