Former Real Madrid teammates Isco and James Rodriguez are potential transfer targets for AC Milan as the Italian club has reportedly put them on their radar.
The Rossoneri are looking for a player
In a similar style, the two men even played together at Zidane in Real Madrid, but both fell in the Frenchman’s pecking order. According to reports in Italy, the Rossoneri are on the lookout for a player to fill the void of Hakan Calhanoglu after his move to Inter, where both James Rodriguez and Isco are potential candidates. While Isco remained in Los Blancos despite losing credibility, James Rodriguez left for Bayern Munich on loan and moved to Everton last summer in search of playing time.
Isco is one year younger than James Rodriguez and his salary will be lower than in Colombia, but it is unclear if Milan is in financial position to cover his salary. Real Madrid would agree to unload the Spanish midfielder this summer as his contract expires in 2022, otherwise they would have lost him on a free transfer as they do not expect his current deal to be renewed.

Real Madrid are serious about building a winning project at Castilla and this comes at the expense of Barcelona’s own ambitions for their youth teams. As MARCA already reported, Miguel Gutierrez, Sergio Arribas, Marvin Park and Antonio Blanco will all continue to transition between the first team and Castilla next season, but another new arrival has landed. Jaume Jardi, 19, was the last to arrive in the capital as captain of the Barcelona youth team but without a contract since 30 June.
