Leganes head coach Javier Aguirre is ready for his team’s match against Real Madrid on Sunday, a game that will decide whether Madrid-based minnows can avoid relegation LaLiga SmartBank. I do not have clear highs and lows, and I can’t talk about assumptions.” Aguirre also commented on the season as a whole, a campaign that was completely different from any other. “It was an exceptional season. We had never stopped halfway before and were not in isolation; everything was different,” he noted. “However, the relegation battle is no different, and it is important that we still have a chance in the last match.” Aguirre was also asked about his future after Sunday’s game against Real Madrid. “I can’t talk about my future,” Aguirre said. “I’ll focus on 97 minutes on Sunday. Not only my future but also the club depends on it. We have humility and work. Of course, I am a believer, but that is my personal life.”
