Jesse Lingard said goodbye to West Ham as he prepares to return to Man Utd, but the door remains open to permanent relocation this summer. Finding playtime difficult to visit on Old Trafford, Lingard swapped northwest for east London during the 2021 winter window. Jesse Lingard has rediscovered his spark with the Hammers, registering nine goals and earning an England recall, but so far his adventure in the capital is over as parent and credit clubs ponder big calls. Jesse posted an emotional message to the Hammers saying what a way to end the season. Reaching their goal with this incredible group of guys feels amazing and that they pushed hard and never gave up! Lingard says he is so lucky to be able to enter such a welcoming environment, everyone associated with the club showed him how special the club is. Jesse thanks the thug who believed in bringing him here. thank all the staff who helped him so quickly get used to and become a part of the club. thank the coaches who helped him find the truth back on the field.

A little detail

Jesse Lingard made just three domestic cup appearances for United before he was released to move on to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Jesse played 16 Premier League games for West ham. A place in Gareth Southgate’s preliminary lineup for this summer’s European Championship is secured. Once any international responsibilities are over, Jesse Lingard can turn his attention back to club affairs. David Moyes made no secret that he would like to bring Jesse Lingard back in 2021-22, and the Hammers added Europa League football to their schedule. However, it remains to be seen what the Red Devils have in store for their academy graduates, and it is possible that they are authorizing the sale.
