Laporta detailed his campaign on Friday and made it clear that he feels ready to spearhead the Catalan club’s recovery. “I decided that I would run in 2020 on the day the 2015 elections ended. As it was clear to me that I would do it again,” he said at the event. “I feel experienced enough to make decisions and I have high morals, and I know what Barcelona will need. We want to restore Barcelona’s self-esteem.”
The former president will bring Mateu Alemany at the club
