Attacking line-up from the start

Before the clash, Julen met with journalists. He praised Huesca’s defensive line and fitness conditions. He also said that Huesca would give lots of headaches to Sevilla’s attacking line. The only promise he made was that Sevilla would go for three points at home stadium. Julen is a man of his words – from the start of the game, Sevilla was with a very dangerous attacking line and opponents knew about it.

Julen Lopetegui started matches with a sudden change – 4-3-3. Sevilla was attacking with three strikers at the same time. De Jong, Gomez and El Haddadi were playing in the attacking line and their attacks were too dangerous for Huesca. In the first half, Sevilla had two real chances of scoring a goal. In the second half, Sevilla finally achieved the main target – opening the score-line. El Haddadi scored a very beautiful header and gave a lead to Seville. In just a few minutes, Lopetegui replaced De Jong and Rakitic, so they could rest before a clash against Dortmund.
