Jurgen Klopp, the manager of Liverpool, did not answer a certain journalist after his team suffered a third consecutive loss on the road in the league.

At Molineux, the Reds were defeated by the Wolves by a score of 3-0, and the first 15 minutes of the match saw Wolves score two of their goals. The side coached by Julen Lopetegui gained control of the game thanks to an own goal scored by Joel Matip and a goal scored in his debut by Craig Dawson.

Ruben Neves added a third goal in the second period. It was the fifth occasion since the World Cup that Liverpool has given up a goal in the opening half hour of a game. Three of those goals were conceded in the Premier League, and as a result, Liverpool is winless in the Premier League since the turn of the year. They have now lost seven games in the league so far this season, which is more than in all but one of Klopp’s full seasons in command, and there is still nearly half of the season remaining to play.

The journalist in question questioned Jurgen Klopp on the subject of the Reds’ poor start at Molineux, implying that this has been a recurring problem throughout the season. However, judging by the reaction that the manager gave, it seemed as though something had struck a nerve with him.

Klopp started off by saying, “If I’m being completely honest with you, it’s incredibly difficult to talk to you.” “That is something that I would rather not do. You understand why.”

In order to justify his refusal to answer the question, Klopp made a reference to the things that the journalist in question had written about his squad. He went so far as to imply that a response would be provided to the identical inquiry posed by a different member of the press.

When the inquiry was posed by another individual, Mr. Klopp did, in fact, provide a response. It is true that we discussed the topic in the first part of the season, as he stated earlier on in his statement.

“Now, not so much any more, but today, if you want, it was the apex of our troubles because in a game like this, it’s totally not allowed. Now, this isn’t as much of a problem as it used to be, but today it was.” You are free to criticize us, pass judgment on us, and say whatever you choose about us, and the likelihood is that you will be proven correct. Because these 12 minutes [at the beginning] are not permitted, I don’t have anything to say in opposition to it. Coming here, after everything that we did over the past few days and during the entire season up to this point, and then arriving here to see that this is the result, that is something that is extremely difficult to take, I have to say. So I don’t think we had any other games like this one, where we gave up early goals… but maybe we didn’t win games, in which case it’s quite likely that you give up the first one when you lose games.”
