Stellini felt that referee Gianpaolo Calvarese made numerous decisions that cost his side but could not spoil the party. Inter conceded two penalties at the Allianz Stadium and felt the officiating got the decision wrong.

However, the Nerazzurri assistant coach reveals that they are focused on enjoying their Scudetto.

“We went ahead with our celebrations, but we tried to bring calmness and our desire to win onto the pitch. The team did what they had to do regardless of the incidents,” Stellini claimed.

“It is not up to us to comment on them. They are obvious and it is useless to comment on them,” he added.

“We are left with the joy of having won the Scudetto. We tried to win the game, the incidents speak for themselves,” Inter assistant continued.

“There are many, dwelling on just one would be an understatement. We tried to confirm on the pitch that we were the strongest team, but it could certainly have been better today.”

Besides the incident, Stellini says Inter are focused on becoming even better comes next season. He also revealed they have established a strong base at inter.

“The improvements and the margins are always there, we have to go and look for them. We have established a strong base and this year we won the Scudetto,” Stellini revealed.

“In the future, we will have to improve in our approach to the big matches and especially in the European games. This year we created many scoring chances but we weren’t able to take them in the best way,” he explained.

“Certainly, from a qualitative point of view, we have room for improvement. Playing high-level matches helps to develop,” he added.
