According to sources, Juventus is keeping an eye on Gianluigi Donnarumma’s position at PSG and may try to sign the goalkeeper this summer to capitalize on his situation at the club

When Donnarumma contract with AC Milan expired last year, the Italian giants were connected with him but the shot-stopper chose to join PSG instead.

His first season in France has not gone as planned, and he committed a crucial error to kick-start Real Madrid’s comeback on Wednesday, which knocked PSG out of the Champions League.

According to reports, Donnarumma’s relationship with his current employers has deteriorated, and Juventus may attempt to take advantage of this by making a move for him at the end of the season.

There have also been rumors that Donnarumma and several of his teammates are at odds, though Neymar refuted on Thursday that the two almost fought following PSG’s defeat in Madrid.

The fact that Donnarumma is under contract with PSG until 2026 could be a stumbling barrier for Juventus, implying that they will have to pay a high amount to secure his services.

However, given the current state of the scandal surrounding Donnarumma, Juventus may believe they can get the 23-year-old for a lower price than his current market value.

Donnarumma’s gross income would quadruple if he switched from Paris to Turin at the end of the season.

Mauricio Pochettino has limited the Italy international to just 11 Ligue 1 games this season, preferring Keylor Navas for the duration of the campaign.

PSG entrusted Donnarumma with the gloves for their trip to Santiago Bernabeu. But his clumsy clearing allowed Karim Benzema to get Real Madrid back into the game. After a rough evening in the Spanish capital, the Euro 2020 winner has broken his silence.

For the time being, Donnarumma has sworn his loyalty to PSG until the end of the season, but Juventus may want to put that to the test after the season is over.
