Kamlesh Nagarkoti, who played with a cloth ball as a child, was bought for crores in the IPL of 2018, he saw the dream becoming a reality. But perhaps there was a wait written in the fate of this player. In 2019, once again got a chance in IPL, but the wait was not over yet. Got a house in IPL for 2 consecutive years, but unfortunately did not get a chance to do anything for that house.

There was also a chance to go to Australia with Team India in 2020, but the bad luck did not leave this player behind. Once again the hopes were shattered. It is being talked about 22-year-old Kamlesh Nagarkoti, whose dream was camping for 3 consecutive years, but this player did not allow his unlucky to gain a foothold.

In fact, in the IPL auction in January 2018, Kamlesh Nagarkoti was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders for a hefty price of Rs 3.2 crore. However, he could not play a single match due to injury. The next season he was retained by the franchise, but a few days before IPL 2019, he was once again out of the tournament due to injury. He got a chance to make his IPL debut for KKR in September 2020. In the same year in October 2020, Kamlesh Nagarkoti was selected as an additional bowler with Team India for the tour of Australia, but due to workload, he was out of the tour.

When Nagarkoti got a chance in IPL 2020, he took out the last two years and created a furore on the field. In 2020, he got a chance to play 10 matches, in which he took 5 wickets. However, in 2021, he got a chance to play only one match. Kamlesh is representing Delhi Capitals in IPL 2022.

Talking about Kamlesh’s family, his father was a Subedar in the Indian Army. He bought a small apartment for his son in Jaipur with the amount received in retirement, so that his son could learn to play cricket. In the earlier village, Kamlesh used to play with a ball made of cloth. Seeing Kamlesh’s interest in cricket, his family allowed him to play cricket along with studies. After this the bowler took admission in an academy and from this his cricket journey also started.
