Kieran Tierney is a huge ability player

The Scottish International broke the news in a live chat on Arsenal’s Facebook page, with Kieran now tied to the club until 2026. Kieran Tierney has been a key figure for the Gunners since his arrival in 2019, impressing all subsequent campaigns on the side of Mikel Arteta.

Arsenal later confirmed the news on their official website, with Mikel Arteta saying that this is great news for them today. As a club manager, speaking on behalf of the coaching staff and the entire staff, working with KT is a pleasure. His quality, energy, commitment and professionalism, not only in terms of materiel, but every day in training is always at such a high level.

Edu’s CTO added that they are so pleased to have negotiated a new long-term deal with Kieran Tierney. Anyone who has seen him play will learn very quickly that Tierney is a player of enormous ability, but Edu can tell you that Kieran Tierney is also a player with a fantastic attitude and mentality.

Kieran Tierney’s activities at Arsenal

Kieran joined the Celtic Gunners in the summer of 2019 and has made 62 appearances for the club since then. Kieran Tierney was a key figure for Arsenal during his time at the club, with a string of injuries the only thing holding him back for the first two seasons. Kieran played a major role in helping the Gunners win the 2019/20 FA Cup, his first season with the club.

With the signing of Kieran Tierney, Arsenal will now turn to other summer deals as they look to change the squad ahead of 2021-22. The club has made bids for Brighton defender Ben White and Anderlecht midfielder Albert Lokonga, while Leicester City midfielder James Maddison and Ajax goalkeeper Andre Onana are also on the club’s radars. There will also be summer departures, with the likes of Martin Odegaard, Dani Ceballos and David Luiz already leaving the club, while Granit Xhaka is pending and the future of Hector Bellerin remains uncertain.
