DC vs LSG: Lucknow Super Giants defeated Delhi Capitals by 6 runs in the IPL match played on Sunday on the basis of the innings of captain Lokesh Rahul (77) and Mohsin Khan’s tremendous bowling. Chasing the target, Delhi Capitals could only score 189 runs for the loss of 7 wickets.
Mohsin Khan took four wickets for just 16 runs in four overs. Captain Rishabh Pant scored 44 runs for Delhi. But Mohsin Khan made him bold.
Deepak Hooda also scored a half-century
Earlier, Lucknow scored 195 for three against Delhi Capitals on the basis of a 95-run partnership for the second wicket between KL Rahul and Deepak Hooda (52 runs). Rahul hit four fours and five sixes in his 51-ball innings. This is his second half-century of the season.
He shared a 42-run partnership with Quinton de Kock (23 runs in 13 balls) for the first wicket. Hooda hit six fours and a six in his 34-ball innings. Shardul Thakur took all three wickets for Lucknow. He conceded 40 runs in four overs.
KL Rahul got a chance
