Kylian Mbappe hinted that he is open to signing a new deal at PSG following their disappointment in the Ligue 1 title race.

Kylian Mbappe wants to thank the club

Speculation over Kylian’s future rages as he approaches the final year of his contract, with Liverpool and Real Madrid reportedly weighing in the big summer betting bucks for the forward. Kylian provided an update on his situation following Paris Saint-Germain’s 2-0 win at Brest, which was ultimately not enough to maintain the Ligue 1 crown with Lille’s 2-1 win over the Angers on the final day. Kylian, who has scored his 42nd goal in all competitions against Brest, told reporters after being named a Season 1 Ligue Player for the second time in his career that everyone knows he has a deep connection with the club and that Kylian wants to thank them. Mbappe says they gave him more confidence than he deserved and was always grateful to the officers and the club.

What did Mauricio say?

Mauricio Pochettino revealed Paris Saint-Germain is in the process of trying to tie Kylian to a fresh deadline at the end of April, while insisting that the World Cup winner is happy at the Parc des Princes. Head coach said Mbappe has one more year of contract, the Argentines. Mauricio has said this before, but he and the club are doing everything they can to keep it for years to come. The club is working on it and Mbappe is happy.

 What is expected?

Paris Saint-Germain has already managed to renew the contract of one of its valuable assets, and Neymar committed himself to a new four-year deal last month in which he will remain in Paris until at least 2025. Kylian may soon follow suit, and it is unlikely that any potential sponsors will be able to match its market value of € 180 million amid ongoing revenue losses due to the coronavirus pandemic. Paris Saint-Germain is expected to challenge again for major awards on multiple fronts next season, and Kylian’s continued presence will be critical to their chances of securing their first-ever Champions League crown and winning the Ligue 1 title against Lille.
