And he adds: “This agreement was put to a vote, as it could not be otherwise, following the democratic channels enabled in the different governance bodies of LaLiga. The majority of the clubs that make up LaLiga, 38 of the 42, decided to join after analyzing the agreement individually and autonomously, also supported by their respective legal advisors”. Real Madrid, along with Barcelona and Athletic, have sued the LaLiga Impulso project in court. The plan that links the Spanish employers with the investment fund for the next 50 years in exchange for the clubs (the 38 that accepted) giving up about 10% of their audiovisual income in exchange for receiving almost 2,000 million euros to distribute.
