England Liam Livingstone rocked the match against CSK. Livingstone (Liam Livingstone IPL 2022) all-round performance gave Punjab victory.

During the batting, Livingstone scored 60 runs in 32 balls. His innings included 5 fours and 5 sixes that forced the fans to dance on their feet. After phenomenal batting, Liam Livingstone also did wonders with the bowling and bagged 2 wickets. During the innings of Punjab Kings, Livingstone completed his fifty in 27 balls.

During his bolstering innings, Liam Livingstone also scored a six that surprised everyone on the ground as well as the commentators. It was a massive mammoth, a brutally hit six that went for 108 metres.

On the very first ball of Mukesh Chaudhary, Liam Livingstone hit the ball into orbit with some fearless authority. It was skyrocketing  108 metre six from his bat. The power he generates from bat swing is an absolute treat to watch.

Seeing this six, the commentator said during his commentary, ‘The ball has gone to the moon.’  Additionally, this 108 metre long six hit by Livingstone is the longest six of IPL 2022. Not only this, Liam Livingstone hit another six in the same match which was of 105 metres. The longest six so far has been hit by Jos Buttler of 101m, 98m and Ishan Kishan of 98m.

Liam Livingstone batted with a bang in this over of bowler Mukesh Chaudhary. He scored a total of 26 runs by hitting 2 sixes and 3 fours. Livingstone displayed his power, strength and playing style in this watch. Certainly, that is why he was bagged by Punjab Kings for a big sum of money.

Livingstone continued to score after 5th over with a more sensible approach. Truly, this is a disappointing start for CSK in any Indian Premier League (IPL 2022). They had to face the third consecutive defeat.

Talking about the match, a half-century from Livingstone (60) and his 95-run partnership for the third wicket with Shikhar Dhawan (33) helped Punjab Kings recover from the initial setbacks and scored 180 for eight in 20 overs. Chasing this target, CSK were given continuous shocks by the Punjab Kings bowlers.

As a result, no batsman could play a big innings except Shivam Dube’s 57-run half-century. Apart from him, only former CSK captain and wicketkeeper Mahendra Singh Dhoni could score 23 runs. Due to this the team was bundled out for 126 runs in 18 overs.
