According to the latest reports, Loris Karius has returned to Germany. The 27-year-old goalkeeper will play in the Berlin Union.
Liverpool have officially confirmed that goalkeeper Loris Karius has been loaned to the Berlin Union. The lease is a one-year duration, and the 27-year-old goalkeeper will play in the union until the end of the 2020/2021 season.
Karius spent a year and a half in Turkish Besiktas (also on lease). Karius returned to Liverpool from Turkey early because he was no longer paying his last salary in Besiktas.
During the season, he played 25 matches for the Turkish club and conceded 29 goals. Karius has a contract with Liverpool until the summer of 2022. Recall that from 2012 to 2016, Karius still played.
In the 2018 Champions League final, Karius made two unforgivable mistakes and was blamed for Liverpool’s defeat to Real.
