‘Bild’ writes about the expected transfer of Liverpool. Schalke’s defender, Ozan Kabak, has become an irreplaceable figure in Schalke. So, due to Klopp’s demand, Liverpool are ready to pay a lot of money for him.
Liverpool want to sign Gelsenkirchen Schalke’s defender Ozan Kabak. The information about this was spread by the German tabloid ‘Bild.’ According to the publication, the English club leaders have already addressed the Germans to negotiate about the young defender. As it turns out, the transfer of Kabak is a request of Jürgen Klopp.
It is known that Liverpool will need to strengthen in the center of defense, as Dejan Lovren will leave the club. Zenit St. Petersburg pays 12 million euros for the Croatian defender. So, the Merseysiders want Ozan Kabak to replace him. But a 20-year-old Turkish backline is much more expensive. According to the clause in his contract, the applicant must pay 45 million in exchange for Kabak. But this clause will come into force only next year. This year, due to the Pandemic crisis, the player’s price has dropped, and Schalke may let him go for 35 million.
Ozan Kabak moved to Schalke a year ago from Stuttgart. In the finished season, the Turkish player was an irreplaceable figure at the Gelsenkirchen club and scored three goals in 26 Bundesliga matches. He has a contract with Schalke until 2024.
