Being happy in Madrid
Modric said that he is very happy with the results of the team. He noted that playing for Real Madrid is the biggest dream of his childhood. At the same time, Luka Modric admitted that one more year will be a dream to achieve big titles like Champions League, La Liga, Cup, etc. Croatian player said that everyone’s dream is to play for Los Merengues. He is very grateful for playing and being chosen by the coaching staff in 2012. Luka said that he will play the 10th season next year and it will be a big thing to represent Real Madrid for so many years.
Secret of consistency
Luka Modric said that at such an age, he is still very active and can play 90 minutes every week. The midfielder admitted that consistency is mostly because of the strategy. The player said that sleeping and recovering is very important. At this age, he is eating very well. Nutrition is always on point and he can train well during the day. At the same time, he is doing everything to fasten the recovery and have a good sleeping schedule.
Winning Ballon d’Or
The Croatian player said that winning the Ballon d’Or was a very special moment for him. Looking at Criatisno Ronaldo and Lionel Messi for more than a decade to dominate the world was very important to everyone but winning the biggest personal award after them was unimaginable for the player. Luka admitted that watching his father and family excited and crying in the hall was very special for him. He did everything from early childhood to achieve big success but predicting the Ballon d’Or was something that he could never see coming.
