Manchester United continues to struggle as they drop two points at The Hawthorns. United conceded after a minute but they struggled to get back into the game, thanks to Bruno Fernandes stunning volley.

Despite the former Lisbon midfielder’s effort to equalize, United could not grab a winner. It was United’s third consecutive match to end in a draw after their FA cup tier against west ham at old Trafford was decided by Scott Mc Tominay slow shot at extra time.

While disappointments and frustration against a relegation-threatened side are understandable, some fans crossed the boundaries to make their point.

It is reported that Anthony Martial was subjected to abuse on his Instagram account. A number of users posted racist messages and symbols on his photos. Unfortunately, this is not the first time that he was been subject to such vile comments as he and Axel Tuanzebe suffered the same following the loss to Sheffield United last month.

Despite the frustrations, Martial faced at West Bromwich unable to find the net and out of form, Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has backed the French forward to rediscover last season’s form.

Martial who played in the left, with Edinson Cavani going through the middle was substituted in the 66th minute to make way for Mason Greenwood.

“No (I’m not concerned by his form). I know Anto is working hard to get back to where he was, and he’ll score goals,” Ole explained at his press conference.

He continued, “His attitude is very good. The form is sometimes temporary but class is permanent.

“The kid’s got class,” he stressed.

“So when he works hard, we know it’s going to come out with the good performances in the end.”

Ole’s Skipper Harry Maguire could not put up with United critics saying he is fed up. Maguire pointed finger to Billy Sharp claiming that it was a foul. “I’m fed up of hearing about mistakes from defenders and goalkeepers when it’s a blatant foul.”

He added, “I had one disallowed at Burnley two or three weeks ago, and the difference is massive. You can’t tell me that I did more than the striker’s done there!

“When are we going to get these decisions? As defenders and goalkeepers, you expect a fair decision. For me, I know Vic will be disappointed in there, and I’m sure he’s probably getting criticism; he knows he can do better,” he concluded.

With Baggies stalemate, United are second, 46 points, ahead of Leicester who is third separated with goals different both trailing Manchester City who are yet to play a game in hand.
