The reigning PL champions are understood to be in the market for reinforcements down the left side of their team. While Cancelo is capable of filling many different positions in Guardiola’s plans, he is not considered a natural fit at left-back. Zinchenko really slots unhindered into that defensive space and could yet leave the Etihad Stadium this summer with Marc seen as a useful choice to add depth and competition.
